Digital displacement sensor

Digital displacement sensor

A sensor that directly converts linear displacement or angular displacement into a digital electrical signal output corresponding to it.

It has advantages of high accuracy, large measuring range (length can reach more than several meters, angle can be within 360 degrees), easy installation, simple use and maintenance, good reliability, easy automation and digitization, etc. Commonly used digital displacement sensors include grating type, magnetic grating type, induction synchronizer, laser type, encoder, etc.
