Dust sensor

Dust sensor

A device that detects the amount of floating fine dust or condensation. Optical dust sensors have side scattered light mode and near-infrared forward scattered light mode. The working principle is that when light shines on particles, particles of different sizes have different scattered light patterns. By detecting the amount of this scattered light, the amount of fine dust can be determined.
