Ion fire sensor
A device based on the flame conductivity
effect is used to detect flame conditions in the environment. It is a
fire-resistant metal tube mounted on an insulator. Generally, a DC positive
potential is applied to the metal tube and a DC negative potential is applied
to the aircraft body. When there is a flame between the metal tube and the
aircraft body , the fire area is ionized and has the ability to conduct
electricity, forming an electrical path between the metal tube and the aircraft
body and outputting a signal.
