The Development of IOT Pressure Transmitter

In our view, the Internet of Things is divided into two parts: the civil Internet of Things and the industrial Internet of Things. Civil Internet of Things is what we often call the Internet of Things, including smart home, smart Internet of Things, smart transportation, smart security, smart power, smart medical care and so on. In addition, in the past two years, people have talked a lot about the industrial Internet of Things. With the intensive introduction of the major brands of industrial operating systems (PaaS) at home and abroad, more precisely, the rapid development of the Internet of Things in the process industry, large petrochemical factories with little-known industrial Internet of Things are moving towards a safe, environmentally friendly and energy-saving intelligent system with the help of the industrial Internet of Things. The direction of construction is upgraded.

With the implementation of "IOT Pressure Transmitter Specification" - GBT34073-2017 on February 1, 2018, the IOT Pressure Transmitter was born. Internet of Things pressure transmitter has special characteristics of Internet of Things: including identification requirements, pressure transmitter should have identifiable identity; operability requirements, pressure transmitter should be operable; credibility requirements, pressure transmitter diagnostic mechanism, misoperation detection, alarm, etc. should be credible; pressure transmitter should meet the network security requirements, such as different levels of access rights, and data and document structure. At present, the accuracy requirement of pressure transmitter for process industry users is 0.075%. The specifications stipulate seven accuracy levels: 0.02%, 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.2%, 0.5%, 1% and 1.5%. In our opinion, only when the pressure transmitter reaches the accuracy level of 0.02%, can the value of pressure transmitter in process industry be really brought into play.

High-precision stability is the core performance of conventional pressure transmitters. On the other hand, special industry users require more than these pressure transmitters. For example, users in pharmaceutical industry require that the accuracy of pressure transmitters be better than 0.2%. Sanitary sterility is also the core requirement. Safety Instrument System (SIS) is also the application scenario of the next generation pressure transmitter. The control failure of safety-related pressure transmitter can be divided into pressure transmitter itself, process connection and electrical connection, as well as the surrounding environment of pipe network tank.
