Fiber Optic Pressure Sensor
Fiber optic sensor for
detecting pressure. Fiber optic transmission type sensors use the changes in
transmitted light and reflected light caused by shielding when the light path
is misaligned due to pressure. For example, the pressure is detected by
detecting the change in reflected light through the change of the diaphragm or
photoelastic element caused by pressure, or by detecting the change in
reflected light through the pressure change of liquid crystal.
