Linear displacement sensor

Linear displacement sensor

Used in the automatic control system of linear motion, as a position feedback element, the amplitude of its output voltage is linearly related to the mechanical displacement. According to the working principle, linear displacement sensors can be divided into resistive, inductive, capacitive and piezoelectric crystal types. In aircraft autopilots, inductive linear displacement sensors are more commonly used.
