How to Judge The Fault of Water Level Sensor of Washing Machine?

Before inspection, first of all, make sure that there is no residual water in the bucket of the washing machine, whether there is any kink or blockage in the air duct. Because if there is water in the bucket or the pipeline is not smooth, the air pressure in the gas storage chamber may be too high or too low, resulting in the error of feedback information output of the water level sensor leading to water intake or water intake. If the above troubles are eliminated and then the water intake test machine is carried out, if the water intake is still not possible or the water intake is not stopped, it may be caused by the fault of the water level sensor.

Electromagnetic water level sensor (water level sensor): If the coil of the water level sensor is damaged, the computer board will detect that the water level sensor abnormally stops entering the water and alarms. That is to say, the alarm (E4) will be given when the power is turned on and the water will not enter; the fault is that the water level sensor is broken and the water level sensor can be replaced to solve it.

Contact Water Level Sensor (Water Level Switch): When the power is off, the resistance between the two terminals of the water level switch is measured by a universal meter. If the resistance is very small, the contact of the switch is not disconnected. It may be that the anti-counterfeiting spring breaks or loses elasticity, or that the common contact is stuck with the open contact. At this time, the water level switch is replaced.
