Hydroacoustic director

Hydroacoustic director

An instrument for determining the direction of a sound source in water. It has two or more receivers placed in different locations. The receivers amplify the received sound signals and determine the direction of the sound source based on the phase difference of the signals (caused by the different distances from the sound source to each receiver).
